2. Orders and Payment

• All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability.
• We accept payment through Verifone, including debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other payment methods shown at checkout.
• All prices on the website are listed in EUR (€) unless otherwise stated and may change without notice.

3. Taxes, VAT, Customs Duties and Import Fees

• Orders are shipped from Iceland.
• Prices shown on our website do not include import VAT, customs duties, customs clearance charges, postal handling fees, or other import-related fees unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Customers outside Iceland may need to pay these charges before or upon delivery, depending on the rules of the destination country and the carrier handling the shipment.
• The customer is solely responsible for any import VAT, customs duties, clearance charges, handling fees, or similar costs imposed by the destination country, customs authority, postal operator, or courier.
• We do not control these charges and cannot guarantee or predict their amount, as they vary by destination, order value, customs valuation, product classification, and local rules.
• If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned because import-related charges were not paid, we reserve the right to deduct any return shipping costs, customs charges, handling fees, and other non-recoverable costs from any refund.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• We currently ship to Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Ireland. 
• Orders are shipped with Pósturinn (Iceland Post).
• Estimated delivery times may vary depending on the destination, customs processing, and carrier conditions.
• We aim to hand over orders to our shipping partner within 24 hours or the next business day after purchase.
• Delivery time estimates are not guarantees.
• We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs processing, weather, transport disruptions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• Free shipping may be available on selected orders when the minimum order threshold shown on the website is met. If discounts reduce the order total below the applicable threshold, free shipping may no longer apply.

5. Returns and Refunds

• We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, subject to the terms set out in our Return Policy. 
• Returns must comply with the instructions and conditions described on our Return Policy page.
• Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method within 4 business days after the return has been received and processed.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or where the return is due to our error.
• If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or returned because the customer did not pay required import-related charges, any refund may be reduced by return shipping costs, customs charges, handling fees, and other non-recoverable costs.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Intimoire name, logo, and selected graphics are the intellectual property of Intimoire and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.
• Other trademarks, product images, brand assets, and content may belong to their respective owners or vendors and are used with permission or under applicable rights.

7. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Intimoire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website, the purchase of products, delivery delays, customs processing, or inability to use our services.
• Our liability shall in any case be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order, except where a greater liability is required by applicable law.
• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Iceland. 
• Any dispute arising out of or relating to the use of this website or purchases made through it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in Iceland, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
